Hi,
I have given my home for rent. The house was in a good condition when I had rented it to them. I had done all the small interior works and had even done waterproofing in the basement to prevent any leakage.
But the guy living there called me the other day and he told me that there is a small leak in the basement and as a result there is a very dusky smell in there.
But I had just done the work a few months ago and I am surprised it is already leaking.
So now I need to get a solid and permanent solution to this.
I am thinking of installing sump pumps as my home is located by a lake and thus there is high water table in the area.
I would like to know if any of you any basement waterproofing service providers who can get this installed at the cheapest prices, it might take a few weeks for me to get this done since I am out of town now. And I will be able to fix it only after taking a look at it. So until then, is there any temporary solution which I can suggest my tenant so that the leak can be stopped, at least for a few weeks? Any suggestions ?
Looking forward to your replies.
Thanks.
