I just had the Mephistopheles' Stout

at 45 deg it was not too so good, bland even
at 60 deg if was one of the most amazing beers
I think I have ever drank my only wonder is how it will taste in a year
I have a bottle that I store for over 1 year

this beer is amazingly complex the flavor profile is like no other

anise, cherry , chocolate ......

SWMBO loved it cold, but couldn't drink it at temp

I think this one would do well after a year or so in the bottle

I have a Sep 2006 bottle that I will wait a little longer on as well as a bottle of Evan!'s clone that will get the same treatment.

I've got one of Evan!'s I'm holding on to as well. Lots of Avery stuff down here, but no Mephistopheles.

I've got one that I bought a few weeks ago that I'm gonna age for at least a year or so (or at least I'll try, it's pretty tempting to drink it!!)
