Auto siphon question

I just got an auto siphon, but it was previously used for wine. will this lead to off flavors if its clean?

As long as they weren't fermenting with wild yeast or something I wouldn't think so. I've used my same autosiphon on many different batches of beer and a batch of apflwein and have not noticed any off flavors. But hey, there are a lot of people on here that know much more than I do, so take it away folks!
