Took a trip to the LHBS to get some priming sugar and the ingredients for my next brew as well as a 5G carboy. I had an $8 coupon for purshases ove $20, so I was up for saving some dough. Got there, and got some stuff together, then realized that the coupon was sitting back on my desk in my office...ARGHGHGHGH!!!!!


picked up the sugar and a new bottle filler, as I don't like the gravity one that came with the kit, but need to go back to pick everything else up in order to use the coupon.

I guess it guarantees another trip. sometimes I really p!ss myself off.....

Bummer. I feel for you. I seem to always leave something of importance behind whenever I go anywhere. Hope your HBS isn't terribly far away for you.

Did you ask about it? I've found that small retailers are sometimes willing to give you a break if you ask. They might have given you the discount without the physical coupon.

$8 is $8. Not that I am cheap or anything, but if I have it, why not use it. If the shop was far away I would say screw it, but it is not. I can hit the chop, grab a sandwich, and still be back to work in an hour.

I think my nearest LHBS is 80 miles away. Hey, that gets me to thinking..... I've always wanted to go into business for myself.
