Is it ok to use aquarium silicone tube for siphoning when brewing?

I dunno. This is provably not food grade. They could have used some funky coating on top of the silicone that you don't want to ingest.

I wouldn't but whatever. Can't get homebrew equipment in the DR?

Should be fine. You can use silicone airline tubing to waterproof your temp controller probe. This should be the same stuff.

I was going to say the same thing, PLUS, if it was safe to come into contact with the water little fishies live in, one would think it would be safe for humans to.
