I just bought this controller and hooked it up to a kenmore freezer turn keezer. Also installed a fan and I have it running when the ienmore is not. Just a matter of hooking it into the other inkbird slot. Looking for tips! Thx.

fwiw, I recommend running a "stirring fan" 24/7 in any chest freezer, whether used for fermentation or for dispensing beer, to eliminate temperature stratification - which can be particularly problematic in keezers...

Cheers!

Okay, I’ll make the switch. Any chance you leave the temp probe in a container of water inside the keezer, or allow the probe to hang?

I attach the key temperature probe to a keg with an inch thick foam insulator over it. I also have air temperature probes but they are for info, not control. I do not recommend direct immersion as that will eventually kill most probe types...

Cheers!

Good idea....I just got it and quickly set it up without reading the manual, but I have a set temp of 37*F and 2 degree differential to avoid the compressor going on and off so much. Also noticed that the cooling control shuts off when I have the humidity sensor plugged in the inkbird. Gotta look that up.
