Anyone try Quilmes?

While dove hunting in Argentina two weeks ago I was drinking the local beer called Quilmes, which has about 80% of the beer business in Argentina.
It's really good beer for a BMC type brew.
Argentine people are really nice!!

yes i was in argentina in december and that was a tasty brew i have found it here locally but not the same, maybe just me. i went to the very south "el calafate" and "ushuaia" there was a micro brew down there that had a killer sweet stout! beautiful country!

I love Argentina!! I waqnted them to win the World Cup after the USA was eliminated. Now I wan the Netherlands to win.
I was hunting in the Cordoba area. Quilmes is really good beer!

The beer Quilmes Cristal, used to be a "Decent beer" but it is no so good. Speacially after Brahama got the name and started to produce it. If you go to Argentina, just drink a lot of red wine, and only drink beer from microbreberies, but don't drink Quilmes.

I think you think we are trying to say it is a good beer as in one the best we've ever tried. We are simply stating compared to other BMC style beer it was pretty good.

It's really good beer for a BMC type brew.

and yes the wine was very good!

HI. actually I don't like it any more! I used to drink it, till I got in Homebrew (I am from Argentina) ..lol but yes if you compare it with other BMC style..yes it is "good" one.
