Looking to learn a bit more than Extract brewing & was wondering if anyone in Snowflake/Taylor/ShowLow area?

I’m in Linden. I’m just getting going but am looking for others who are in to the hobby.

I'm in Snowflake. Where are you at? Is tough looking for folks in this area. I used to live in the valley & I just went to my brew store for info. It's desolate around here.

I’m off Burton road. Not far at all from snowflake. I saw you said you’re off grid. Are you in town or out east off concho Highway? I posted my number but a mod edited it out so I guess that’s against forum rules.

I moved up from Gilbert 5 years ago with my wife and kids. I brought my kegerator with me and it sat until I was making mead last year and I realized I already had almost everything I needed to get started. I’ve done a few 5 gallon batches that turned out great and I have 2 more in the mail right now.

It is desolate, but then again that’s why we wanted to live here haha. The valley sucks the life out of you. Not everyone can make the leap to get out of it. We were fortunate enough to find work and be able to get out of there

I'm off of Concho just 6 miles out of town. Moved from Chandler about 6 yrs ago. I've made mead 3 times & plan on doing it again, once my brew kits are completed.

Oh nice. Yeah that’s not far from town at all then. You must be close to the country store. I’m guessing part white antelope?

I see patients out there all the time and I have a friend that just bought 20 acres about 11 east of town. He has done Mr Beer and is getting ready to do his first extract kit soon.

What kind of mead are you thinking of making? I’ve done blueberry, strawberry, prickly pear, pineapple, cherry, Korean melon, and grape
