Any roon for a retired Squid?

Hello, all. I retired from the Navy a couple years ago and while I have various hobbies, I wanted to try something different.

Another forum I am a part of has a section for home brewers so I decided to give it a go. I've spent the last few days surfing around here and have picked up a lot of great info.

as well as an IPA kit.

They offer a beginners class that I will attending on the 11th. I figure 20 bucks is a cheap way to see it done up close and personal.

Anyway, it will be at least a couple weeks before I start anything. I'll start a thread when I do.

Welcome to the best group on the web! My father served in the Navy in Vietnam and recently started brewing because he caught the bug from me. There is a ton of great info on this site, you should read some of the "Sticky" threads in the beginners forums too...they answer a lot of questions.
