Any Mercedes mechanics?

I have a problem with a recently acquired 2003 E320. Big red light on dash says to stop driving , brake failure. I could ask about it on a Mercedes forum, but I what fun would that be? Besides, I can't remember the password to that one.

Anyone have any luck with DYI SBC brake system repairs? This car is about as different under the hood from my '83 300D than that car is to a Model A. Only 20 years difference in age....

Certainly not a Mercedes mech, but if case you missed this link below. Fingers crossed its just the module cycling out.
