I plan to put a barley wine in bottles in a few months and will likely want to age it in bottles for a few years after carbonating in the bottle. Should I be worried about any long term effects of the yeast in the bottle? I would like to put a few 6 packs back for a few years.

it should be fine, I have beers that are over 2 years old sitting in my basement.

just to remember to keep them cool.
