Anvil Crucible 7 Lid Height?

Hoping that a Crucible owner can answer a question -- How much height does the lid add on the 7 gallon?

Total height is supposed to be 31 inches. My fermentation chamber is only 27 inches inside, so I'm hoping to swap for a flat lid to make it fit.
