Anti-virus soft (Malware garbage)

Seriously? I'm having to remove this thing twice now this week. The fact that I'm on a P4 laptop makes this such a huge pain in the ass.

The link tells you how to remove it. I actually got the stupid stuff popping up from msn going through the news.

I hate those sons of ******* - had a heart-to-heart with boy number two about how if he ever clicks on one of those bastards again that he would be the one spending the hours required to get rid of it, restore the backup etc.

That link is perfectly safe. Bleepingcomputer.com is VERY reputable. They are top notch malware experts.

This particular virus is installed from multimedia clips that are imbedded in html pages. If you can you need to have your antivirus scan anthing that is being redirected from port 80 on the web server. It is a pain in the a** to get rid of, but it is usually installed under C:\Documents and Settings\usernam\Local Settings\Application Data adn the file is usually ave.exe
