I haven't kegged before and I'm considering making 3 different five gallon batches of beer for a party near thanksgiving and having those three beers on tap...

no kegerator needed - just planned on putting the kegs or lines on ice or something or the sort

as far as equipment, where is the best place to start for a kegging newbie?

a) buy corney kegs and recondition them
b) acquire a regulator and co2 tank
c) acquire a manifold or splitter to get co2 to all 3 kegs
d) acquire 3 picnic tappers
e) assemble parts into working system

On game day put each 5 gallon corney in a 5 gallon or larger bucket and fill the space inside the bucket with ice. Should keep the beer cool without being too cold.

i would also recommend doing a test run the day or two before to make sure everything works. it really sucks when you have many other things to do the day of, and things aren't working as you expect.
