I recently destroyed the bearings in my grain mill by using a hand drill at too high a speed, now I want to build a proper one but I dont wanna put alot of time or money into it, what are some easy budget friendly motor setups I can use

I would get the biggest nicest roller mill I could afford, and then use the cheapest most disposable slow-speed electric drill I could find to power it.
If you go with a horizontal shaft motor, and gear it down with pulleys and belts, the side-force is considerable and will wear out your bearings again.
The key is to get the drive lined up correctly with the input shaft, and not side-load the bearings.
BTW, you can probably replace the bearings. I would contact the manufacturer or find replacements at Grainger or McMaster-Carr.

I've got about $225 into my mill:

cereal killer mill - $125
Used drill press motor - $20 (benchtop drill press from garage sale)
12"Ø v-belt pulley - $40
v-belt - $12
lumber for cart - $20
light switch and junction box - $8

EDIT: The motor had a v-belt pulley on it (from the drill press) so I only needed the larger pulley. It runs at about 250 RPM, a little quick, but I brew with BIAB so I don't worry too much about the quality of my crush.

Cereal killer, $40 High Torque drill from Harbor freight.

Ha! We even have the same grain mill!

I'm motorizing my mill as well, and the concern of side pulling always comes up. So why not mount the large pulley to the stand with some pillow block bearings? That's what I'm doing anyway.
