I'm still debating about dry hopping in secondary or primary but with either choice should i cold crash first. Im gonna give the yeast a few more days to clean up before i do anything. Its been in primary for 2 weeks and fermometer temp is 61

I dry hop in primary after fermentation is done... No worries. A bunch of people on here do it to.

Sure why not...but I would imagine that cold crashing right beforebottling makes the most sense to me

Yeah, leave it in primary till you Get a stable FG,then another 3-7 days to clean up & settle out more. The beer should be clear to slightly misty at that point. Then use a hop sack & dry hop for 1 week.

X2 on this method. I wait till a stable FG then dry hop with a hopsack for a week. Never much more than that.

I'm just dumping straight in for a least a week. Everything should fall to the bottom especially when i cold crash it. I mainly want to use the secondary for dry hopping cause I'm gonna use the primary for an imperial Ipa. My other glass carboys are only 5 gallons and I'm saving them for a stout that I'm gonna split. If i wasn't gonna use the primary then i would dry hop in it. That will probably happen next time. Thanks for the ideas
