Yeah,it would be interesting at that. Just see what it's like clearer & carbed decently.
Honestly I think using exactly their techniques would be even better. It would really give you a glimpse of how awful (or great!) beer was then. I think being able to find a ledger with instructions (probably impossible) would be an even better find!

Just to say I had a beer recipe that was invented 3500 years ago.. would be worth it tasting like crap.
 
You need to look at the paintings in the tombs for that. I remember some that showed them pressing barley cakes into jars of water. A member on here has one as his avatar,or did.

If you could look through your responses to see who this person is, it would be fun to compare wall paintings.

I am isolating each tile picture with Adobe Lightroom to see if I can find anything interesting in the pics. So far, it's the head brewer and an assistant making beer in a shallow pot and presenting the final beer in a clay pot to the Pharoh. I'll post if I can find or reveal something more to the pics.
