Anchorage, Alaska Keg Acquisition

I recently relocated to Anchorage. I am wondering if the Anchorage Members of HBT could advise me on where they have found decommissioned full size commercial kegs for conversion. As before I would like to acquire legally.

Have you tried calling Arctic Brew Supply to see if they have a line on any used kegs? I know they sell cornies, but i am not sure about larger used kegs.

Good luck... I'd check out the local breweries and see if they have any decommissioned kegs they will sell... Hard to find them up here...

Pete and Lisa at Arctic Brewing usually have some nicely tig welded and plasma cut... But I don't think they sell any decommissioned. Make friends at a homebrew meeting--there will be a big Christmas bash--and I bet you'll score one...
