Made a few adjustments in hops and began brewing this morning.

Had temp control problems doing "small" beers in a 5 gallon cooler so I bought a 3 gallon one and used it today. It's a tight squeeze putting 4 lbs of grain in a 3 gallon cooler w/2.8 g of water. LOL Still had about 1" to go.

Mash went very well. Beer Smith called for a Pre-Boil gravity of 1.037 and I hit 45 in 45 min so I stopped there. I'm grinding my grain in a blender to power and this time I added about 1/8th ts of Amylase Enzime just for the hell of it. It's boiling away now w/about 1/2 hr to go. More info later.

Bottled today after 5 days cold crash. 18 bottles----three 6 packs just as planned.

Taste is good well as good as flat beer can be.

Will know more around 20 May.
