Brewing an American Amber. Brewed it once I think it needs more malty character. Thinking of replacing 2 lbs pale malt with 2 lbs Munich malt?! Will this give me a good malt flavor / complexity? Will post recipe later

Yes. Munich is always a great choice! Some pale ale, vienna, munich, melanoidin, special roast, a crystal or two... the amber gods will surely shine upon thee!

And my recipe I use about a pound carared to give me nice red color. Is little bit of Crystal 40 Crystal 20. Definitely think I need to take out some base malt and put in some Munich malt!!! The beer just seems like it's missing something.
