My first go at my own Amber ale recipe.
I was following a motto of making 1 malt tweak at a time to my standard pale ale recipe (80% 2row,10%crystal40,10%carapils)
This will be the first time I'm combining a lot of them. I want a light amber....or a maltier pale ale.

70% 2Row
15% Munich Light
10% Crystal 40...or CaraMunich II
5% Biscuit
1% Chocolate

Yeast: US-05
IBU: 35
OG: 1.055

Hops may be Cascade or Bavarian Mandarina.

With previous pale ales we made, the 10% munich vs non munich wasn't that noticeable, so increased it to 15%. I dropped my standard carapils. Not sure if I should increase crystal to 15% and/or include a darker crystal.

I think it looks good! I think some dark crystal like would be a good addition. I use equal parts C40 and C120 in my ambers. If you want more malt flavor I would replace your 2-row with a more flavorful base malt like Maris Otter or Golden Promise. Your percentages look fine and both of those hops are great in ambers.

Looks tasty. +1 on darker crystal. 10% crystal looks good, but a mix of crystals is kinda an amber's shtick imho. I use 4.

I would however recommend going with CaraRed or CaraAmber, which both do a much better job of getting an amber/dark red colour than a combo of crystal malts. These two can also be used up to 20-25%, aiding retention and body.
