Title says it, was going to go with the balanced amber profile for Brun'water, also is flaked wheat considered a base malt, roast malt, on Brun'water thanks

That will work. It depends how dry or full you want that beer to be.

Flaked wheat should be considered a base malt for the purposes of estimating its pH contribution. Be aware that wheat and oats typically produce a higher pH than a barley product with similar color. The supporter's version has a Wheat/Oat grain type that helps get the pH prediction closer. For the free version, I'd suggest targeting about a tenth unit lower than your normal target to help compensate for the wheat.

Okay thanks I figured it was a base malt but wanted to make sure, yes I am using the free version

Thanks for the reply, want to brew this in next couple weeks to have it for the fall/winter
