Hey all,
My last brew was a long time ago so I figured I would re-boil some water just to clean my aluminum pots. I looked at the bottom of one and saw this:
The outside looks pretty good but the bottom is discolored and relatively shiny. What should I do?

For peace of mind, I'd give the bottom and maybe an inch or two up the sides a good scrubbing with Barkeeper's Friend and a sponge, dish-rag, etc, rinse well, then "re-season" the aluminum by boiling with enough water to cover the scrubbed area.
