Aluminum Brewpot

I have heard that an aluminum brewpot will give the beer an off flavor. Is this true. I have been using a 3 gallon stainless but I have a bigger aluminum that I could use. Anyone use aluminum without any problems?

If you search you'll find about a million threads on this. The upshot being go with whichever you prefer, your beer will be fine.

I moved from a stainless 16 qt to an aluminum 30 qt, and noticed my beer go better, because of the increase in volume. I then moved to a 48 qt stainless, and it got marginally better again.

I would say use what you have. I never had an 'off' taste with the aluminum.
