people are very quick to recomend the conversion thermostats. But don't they just cut the power to the motor when it gets to temperature? is that ok for the compressor to keep cycling like that being shut off mid cycle?
Would a better option be to replace the freezer's thermostat with one of a refridgerator? that way it woud cycle as normal but at the higher temperature?
How long do peoples freezers survive running the odd cycle?
