All grain setup

Making the switch to all grain and looking for a setup! I'm in northern Mississippi and can drive a little, but I'm willing to pay for shipping if the price is right!

The only thing I added when I moved from extract to all grain is the mash tun, a measuring stick, and a high temp drain hose. Everything else is the same.

I use a Coleman Extreme cooler with a valve and bazooka tube, a dowel rod with notches cut at the gallon marks, and a piece of silicone hose. All in all less than 50 bucks. I loose less than 1 degree in a 1 hour mash. Cheap and easy batch sparge.

Look into BIAB it's the cheapest way to step into AG & if you already brew extract you may only need the bag to make the switch!

I ended up building an all grain brew stand, and up graded to a 10 gallon pot for my HLT and a 15 gallon pot for my Boil Kettle! Now just to put my mad tun together and I'll be all set!

But I'll also look into BIAB! I've started hearing about it and have no idea what it is!

Nice! I like it! You may want to consider putting casters on it so you can wheel it around easily.....

BIAB is Brew in a Bag... It is a simplified way to step into AG all you need is a BK large enough to mash in usually at least twice the size of your batch size because you use all of your water and don't sparge. Since you mash in your BK you don't have to have a HLT or separate mash tun. It cuts down on equipment needed and saves an hour or more on brew day. Oh and I almost forgot it eliminates the possibility of a stuck mash/sparge:rockin:
