Hi can anyone tell me have you used the wiko air locks ?
Have filled halfway with water but what i Need to know is do i rest the top on or do i click it on thanks .

Fill with starsan or vodka. Tap water, left long enough, will grow some unsavory stuff that you don't want in your beer. Temperature drops can see the airlock liquid sucked into the beer...

I had a few too many suck back accidents using that type of airlock. small amount of starsan was no issue but just got annoying.

On bucket fermenters they are bad news as even picking up the bucket can cause suck back. I ended up settling on s type airlocks for my buckets and plastic carboys and using a blowoff tube if I expected one to be necessary.
