Hey everyone, I may have done something dumb and was wondering if there is anyone out there with experience on this. I happened to have an extra cheapo adhesive thermometer and decided to put it on my 2L Earlenmeyer flask that I use for starters. About 4 seconds after I put it on there I remembered "Oh no! I put this thing on the stove and heat the crap out of it." I'm assuming that this will probably either melt the thermometer or render it ineffective, but before I take it off (or permanently melt glue to my flask) I just wanted to know if there's any chance it will actually work if I just keep it on. Thanks.

A hot day in an open air garage in the desert is all it took to destroy the liquid crystal thermometers on my carboys.
