Adding hops to LME

So a quick question on LME's and adding hops. If I plan to add hops, what kind should they be? Since the LME needs to only boil for 15 minutes or so, would I add a low AAU hops, or a higher content one? And if I do add a higher content one, would I boil the LME for 30 minutes or longer?

What are you making? Are you using a hopped kit that you would like to add more hops?

I'm not sure what type yet, just a general question. And yes, if the kit is already hopped, what should I use and how long to boil if I want a bit more bite to it?
