Adding Faucets to a 2 1/2 Tower

I know many people have added faucets to a 3" tower but has anyone tried to add faucets to a 2 1/2" tower. I have a single tower now and want to add 1 or 2 more faucets to it.

I was thinking this might work

but after i called them they said it might not work with a 2 1/2 tower.

Yes it can be done and yes those should work. Those are the style that I used. It is a tight fit and difficult to tighten in a 2 1/2 inch tube, but it is possible.
