Hi,
I'm brewing my first batch. I'm doing it from a kit where all the extract, hops, yeast and priming sugar was measured out.
In my excitement after 2 weeks of fermentation and good OG and FG readings, I stirred the priming sugar directly into the wort instead of following the instructions to boil water and dissolve the sugar there before adding it to the wort.
Did I just ruin my batch?
Also, I only have 1 bucket (it has a spigot). I used this to ferment the wort so now I'll be bottling from it. After more research I see most people use separate buckets for fermentation and bottling. What can I expect from this newbie method?
Thanks!
Rich
