Acid level reading

Hi, I just bought an acid test kit from amazon to test my cabernet sauvignion. My problem is that the reading is in parts per thousand PPT. Do you know how to convert from PPT to % Tartaric or the ideal acid level for Cabernet in PPT.

Parts per thousand is grams per liter. Divide the g/L by 10 to get %. Cab sauv would be good around say 5.5g/L
