I have a friend that was just in New Orleans and had an Abita Strawator and ask if I could try to clone it. It looks like it is a mix of their Strawberry lager and the Andygator which sounds like a Helles Dopplebock that may be mashed on the cool side to attenuate a bit more then a regular Helles. I think cutting the Munich with equal parts wheat and bumping up the pils might get something close. Here is what I had in mind.

Recipe: Stawberry Fields

After primary rack to secondary and lager for 3-4 weeks at 33 F. Rack to keg and add campden tablets and potassium sorbet to kill the yeast. Start adding pasteurized strawberry juice until desired back sweetness is hit.

As I have never had a Strawator I am taking a stab in the dark here. Has anyone had one that could share some tasting notes or suggestions on the above recipe??

My local guy today gave me a slightly different grain recipe for this brew.

15 lb Weyermann Pilsner
3 lb Weyermann Vienna Malt
1 oz Perle hop (8.5%)
4 dry yeast packs

90 min boil, .5 oz hops @ 60min left, rest @ 5 min left
said to add strawberry flavor to secondary as deserved for flavor

I'm not sure how fermentable strawberry juice is, but if you really want the exact taste, you'll need to use extract. I'm 99% sure they do.
