I am in the planning stages for my keezer/kegarator.

A couple Things I am undecided about....
1. Chest Freezer or Refidgerator
2. Towers or Taps in Collar

I think I've read somewhere that chest freezers are more efficient than upright freezers, but I believe that it's easier to load upright freezers or refridgerators. (You don't have to lift the keg as high.) However, a good sized chest feezer should hold more kegs than an upright freezer or a refridgerator.

Freezers do require a temp. controller of some kind to keep from freezing which is an added expense.

I went with a Fridge mainly because I got it cheap from a co-worker. Plus my fridge has a freezer on top. It's great for storing hops and overflow groceries.

Good Luck with yours.
