Love For Lucas - Welcome!

A friend's kid has a rare disease called Hyper IGM Syndrome that greatly affects his life. He and his family are moving from Florida to Duke University to get treatment for 6 months to save his life. The treatment involves a bone marrow transplant. Both his parents are going to have to take a leave of absence from work. They are trying to raise money for their son's treatment and their displacement.

It is the season of giving. If you have a few bucks to spare, please do so. I was supposed to buy a $200 kettle off another HBT member but delayed that transaction to give the $200 to them.

Thanks!

Also, they are both lovers of good beer. If any of you are in the Jacksonville area, they are having a fundraiser at Bold City Brewery December 17th from 8- 11 p.m.

Bumping this. Stuff like this always gets me. Especially when it involves kids.
