The Colonial Williamsburg dude is in my local homebrew club, CASK (www.colonialalesmiths.org). His name is Frank. He always hosts the annual party at his house, and it is a blast with his band especially.
That was a pretty good show!

Up here where I'm at(N.E.Pa.),I'm 40 mins. from my LHBS and the old Stegmeier brewery that sits dormant and empty.I think it would be a neat thing to host a mass homebrew get together in there.I think our forefathers would be proud. And talking to the locals they say the mash could be smelled for quite aways (ah mash smells). I noticed that too. Maybe they wern't worried about that back then.rod said:i watched it last night as well.
they sure were not worried about hot side aeration when they showed the colonial brewing were they?
scoop, pour, splash!!
Yes. Every time he said WORT, I was torn between being irritated and laughing at myself for being an EAC about it.Yuri_Rage said:I really enjoyed the show as well. They focused a lot on American lager...but that's because the American public focuses so much on American lager.
Did the consistent mispronunciation of "wort" bug anyone else?
