So I recently aquired a keggle and want to start brewing 10g batches. My set up is currently designed for 5g batches using a 5 gallon igaloo cooler I converted. My question is can I mash a recipe for a 10g brew with a standard grain bill in it. Or should I try to get a bigger igaloo. Ideas, thoughts?

Depending on you efficiency and the size (gravity) of the brew you want to do, it might be doable, especially if you mash a bit thicker. Green Bay Rackers says 14 lbs at 1qt/lb x 85% eff=10 gal 1.045 post boil wort.

Ok so this would probably entail using a little more sparge water to wash the grain better I guess???

Not what you want to hear, but I think you're better off upgrading. Some of my big 5 gallon batches use more than 14# of grain -I feel like you'll be handcuffed to small watery beers if you stick to a 5 gal mash tun for a keggle.

Check out the Coleman extreme 72 quart cooler. There are some great threads on it, and it has worked for just about everything I brew.
