$5 case of bottles

I was going to order 6 cases, but the shipping was $63. That ends up more than my LHBS. Good find if you're local!

Wow, at that price, there's no way I can justify the time spent cleaning the labels off a case!! I'm going to have to talk my LHBS down!

It was 12 bucks to ship to wisconsin, putting it 4 dollars more than the LHBS.

I'd rather buy a case of Bell's beer and drink the beer. The time spent removing labels consists of me dropping them in a bucket with oxyclean, quick rinse, and bottle tree to dry. I'd rather drink beer and do that vs paying for bottles.

I will use a lot more bottles in the next year than I will get from buying commercial brew... even brewing a 5G batch every other week, you're talking about drinking a case of beer a week, of commercial beer. Not gonna happen... at least, not here.

I'd rather go to the recycling center or a bar and pay a nickel a bottle. I 'll get 4 cases for 5$. The Guiness bottles are great. They have a plastic wrap that you just cut off. No labels to peel off. With a good pair of pliers it takes just a second to to pull the whizzer out

Yeah, I'm local and I love this. I do use commercial bottles as well, but I was making more than I was drinking (anyone else see a problem with this?)

I have found out that the easiest bottles to get labels off of are belgian bottles like the rochefort, pannepot, urthel bottles. i have a few friends that drink theses beers a whole lot and they just give them to me when they are through. they are also the coolest looking bottles imo.
