4 C's malty IPA, partial mash, IDEAS?

Looking to brew a malty IPA with the 4 C's, large partial mash, (4-6lbs). Any ideas? I've been into the late hope additions. What do you think about all late (20 min or less) with no 60 minute addition? Do you just start with a smaller volume of wort when you're not doing a 60 minute boil?

I do all late addition pale ales and IPAs all the time. If you are doing extract, you can get away with a shorter boil, but if you are using all grain or a partial mash, you still need to do the 60 minute boil. Just start adding hops with 20 minutes to go and you will be golden.

I brewed a Pale Ale today and added 5oz of hops over 3 additions all in the last 15 mins of the boil. The IPA I brewed before this, which was 2 weeks ago, I added 10oz of hops all in the last 15 mins. The technique is called hop bursting and you get huge flavor and aroma with a nice rounded out bitterness. This makes the beer very hop forward though and might overshadow any malt character.
