this maybe a dumb quesion. I have a 3 gallon keg and want to make a 7 up based vodka punch for a party this weekend. the problem is i only have one of those keg charges that uses th 16 gram co2 cartriges. do you all think it will work to dispense it?

No. At least, in my experience it hasn't. It'll be close though. It usually takes me 3-4 to push a 5 gallon keg. But, I've heard some people say they can do it with one.

Are you saying you only have 1 cartridge? or you asking if the charger will work. THat's what they are for, so yes. 1 cartridge, not so sure.

Yeah it will, that's what they are for. Usually just for portabilty, outigings bbq's and such. Just use small burst so that it barely pushes the beer out, but if is for soda, foam might not be an issue. Just know that though they are small, they still have a lot of pressure, you dont want your guest getting ahold of it and squeezing the trigger all the time.

You could connect , give it a a burst or 2 and remove and take with you.
