I have only done one brew. It was a Mr. Beer Golden Cowboy Lager. It turned out pretty well.

I have the equipment to do BIAB minus a brew bag. I also want to do 2.5 gallon batches.

Looking to make 2-3 batches this weekend. I have 3 LBKs. Or I can buy fermentation buckets this weekend when I go to the brew house.

Any good 2.5 gallon recipes out there? I am thinking about making something for St. Patty's day. Stout or Guinness? Other than that I am not sure what I want to make.

You can easily do 2.5 g BIAB using a paint strainer bag from any hardware store. Your LBKs are perfectly fine fermenters... No need buy buckets just because. Use the LBKs for now and start asking at bakeries, restaurants, soap making shops, etc. for some of their empty buckets.

I get lots of free 7 gal buckets from a local soap shop. With a little cleaning, I have free fermenter, bottling bucket, sanitizer bucket, PBW bucket, etc.

You can take any 5 g recipe and cut amounts in half. I recommend Biermuncher's centennial blonde and Yooper's Haus pale ale as tasty, yet simple recipes to get your BIAB on with.

I have a Christmas ale in my recipe list that's pretty tasty and will be ready for Christmas if you start it now. I does involve messing with some spices but is otherwise pretty simple.

You can find it under my username just to left of this post... There's a recipe pull down... But to save you time :)

If you google "centennial blonde" or "Yooper's haus ale", you should get pointed to the recipes here on HBT. Yooper's recipe is pretty versatile, I've brewed it with different hops and different yeasts and all versions have come out very tasty.

I've only brewed the centennial blonde as per Biermuncher's recipe. This and his "Cream of 3 Crops" are good beers to ease your bud/miller/coors friends into drink homebrew.
