Does anyone, besides me, feel like the Celebration is different this year? Just doesn't taste right to me. I've had it out of the bottle and on tap and it's just not as fresh or piney as usual.

Just bought a case the other day and mine tasted fresher than I remembered it so I seem to have experienced quite the opposite of you. Maybe poor handling at your distributor (kept in excessively warm area)?

I thought the same thing, but just wasn't sure if it was because I have been drinking a lot of other really hoppy IPA's this year and that had influenced how I perceived it or if it really was different.

I have sort of said the same thing about Sam Adams and SN Pale Ale. I always used to think they had a lot of hop flavors going on, but now in comparison to some other beers I have tried, they seem to have much less flavor than I thought they did at one time.

I got a couple sixers the week they came out, they felt a little lighter bodied than I remembered, but in the nice "crisp" way that makes it too easy to suck down

I agree the hop profile is not what it was the past couple of years....was kind of dissapointed

It didn't taste as hoppy this year to me, though I think my pallette is getting destroyed a bit. I did enjoy it though!

Hmm, I wonder if it's an East coast - West coast thing. As in, the ones from NC are different while the beer from Chico is similar to what its been in the past? 4 respondents from the east say not the same (1 east coaster says better) while one from west of the Mississippi says crisp and hoppy. A few don't list their location.
