The kits require 2.2 lbs of dextrose; I'm wondering what would happen if you "pimped" the kits with a mini-mash of base malts.
For someone short on time, it might be worth messing with. Or maybe not.....

Since 2.2 lbs is 1 kg, these must be 'kit and kilo' recipes.

Sounds similar to their cider kits.

Excellent idea! Also add some real hops for good measure. And better beer.

A mini-mash would be best but I would at least use some fresh DME rather than dextrose. Some fresh hops is a good idea too.
