Sorry if it's been posted before but can't seem to find a definite awnser ...
Am I right in saying that if I use 2 single can kits together , I won't need any sugar apart from priming ..I have 2 coopers stout that need using and want to brew without adding the sugar , ripe this will make it a 2 can kit in theory
Will I also use both yeasts ??
Thanks

Yes, use just the two cans and no extra sugar for fermentables. I would only use one packet of yeast unless the gravity is really high once mixed up. Then I'd get some juice as fast as I could and use the extra packet to make some hooch. But that's the way I roll...

These kits are pre-hopped, so if you are going to have 2 cans in 1 volume (23 liters as prescribed), you'll get IBU twice as much as it should be. Result may be also not quite balanced because of it.
This is the only problems I see, otherwise you are fine ;)

I did Cooper's english bitter cut in half (so effectively a toucan/2can) with no sugar. It was ok. Some stronger flavours that are usually more subtle. After doing side by sides, I'd never use cooper's yeast again, so PERSONALLY, I recommend something with a cleaner taste if you're going that route, cause estery yeast, roasty, and extra IBU's will be pretty funky in what is a relatively low malt bill those cans provide.
