2.5 Gallon kegs

Hey there,

I am a Doctoral student in an apartment, I am trying to think of ways to keg but not take up a lot of space, cause you know those damn bottles do take up a lot of space. How do you guys feel about the 2.5 gallon kegs out there. they are very expensive compared to the 5 gals. Are they worth it?

What are my other options?
