Hello all, well Sunday was my 1st brew and I brewed 2 batches (German Octoberfest & Belgian golden ale). All seemed to go fine the Ale started ferm by next morning but I have been try to keep patient with the Octoberfest, so today is 4 days and no air-lock bubbles so I popped the lid off and got a nice whiff of CO2 and Krausen on top. So it is fermenting but I noticed on top of the Brewers best Ferm bucket their is a small hole where the lid would seal it. So my question is should I wash out my other ferm bucket and transfer it or just leave it? The hole is about the size of a match stick. According to direction it needs to ferm until 10-14 days have passed. Thanks
