I really did not plan well. I have a ZD clone in the fermenter. And when it comes time to dry hop I'll be out of town at Disney World drinking Jai Alai! Now - I can just leave it in the primary a week longer and have a buddy swing by and dry hop for me 7 days before we return. Or .. I can dry hop before I leave, which will allow that citra to soak for about 13 days. Do you think 13 days is too long for 4 oz of citra? If so I'll get my beer lovin' buddy to come handle it for me, which, again, gives me 7 days DH, after 3 weeks in primary (so 4 weeks total), then bottle. So any preference in regards to 7 days vs 13 days of dry hopping??? Thanks!! Don't wanna inconvenience him if I don't have to. But I will for good beer!! Also - I'm planning on cold crashing at the end, if that makes any difference. Thanks, in advance!!

Though I have never tried it, and I hate when the second post to a string starts that way.... I have heard great things about starting a dry hop in the primary when the beer is still fermenting. The co2 allows the aroma to stay and it limits the introduction of oxygen. I don't think 13 days is too much but I wouldn't leave it in much longer than that. Let us know what you decide to do.

yes I would say so I have done the same zombie dust clone and only did it 5 days but I think 7 is ideal.

You'll be fine with 13 days.
