Thinking about selling my rig. Going to move a few states up for Uni next year and won't really be able to brew :(.

The system is 240v 5500w Brutus 20 type setup. It's dual vessel and the control panel contains an Auber PID which regulates power to the heating element to keep it at a precise temperature based off of readings in the BK by an RTD. If you set the thing at 152F for mash, it'll hit the nail on the head everytime. The two-vessel setup has both pros and cons over a 3v type rig. It's full volume and constant recirculation, so there's no sparge. That means low-to-mid 70%s efficiency wise, but you cut a solid hour off of brewday, more compact system, etc. Let me know if you have any questions on how this system works, I'll be happy to explain more in depth.

Both of the pots are stainless steel, all valves are stainless 3-piece, and all fittings are stainless camlocks. There is a March pump attached to the shelf. The stand is beautiful and red-oak that has been stained mahogany and sealed, with the legs being a pine painted black. The stand is very durable and is on casters. The mash-tun has a false-bottom and locline. All of the receptacles are locking NEMA plugs. It also comes with a plate chiller, 2L flask and stirplate.

Asking $2,000.

edit: located in DFW, TX.

Turn-key power on/off, pushbutton for the element, PID, Pump, and an emergency-stop. The toggle is for the PID's temperature alarm.

Let me check my lottery ticket...

Nope, didnt win, sorry. I'd love to have this, but the pesky mortgage is getting in the way again. Looks beautiful though!

Question, do you guys think $2,000 is too high of an asking price? It's been on local Craigslist a while and haven't gotten too many hits. I've been thinking it's more about people just not wanting a two-vessel setup. Might have to split it up, don't think I'd really want to lower price. But then I'd be stuck with a useless hole-y table :p.

I honestly don't have any idea. I'm not in the market for any set up right now, let alone an electric one. It might be suffering from a perception of value issue right now. Plus, you admit your indecisiveness on whether to sell or not.

$2000 might be a tough hurdle for some buyers to get over, but $1850 or $1900 sounds and feels significantly cheaper as a buyer.

Again, I have no clue what someone would pay for this ready-built or as a project they put together themselves. I've never looked into building anything like this. I just thought it looked really, really nice.

Good luck.

I also don't know on the price. I've done some preliminary e brew pricing, so I know the costs get high quick, not to me tion assembly.

I'd be willing to bet that the number of people interested in e brew systems bit not interested in building it themselves is fairly low. Thus it'll take a bit to find the right buyer

my initial thought was it was a little high but I have no support of that. I am building a eBIAB but on a budget and I know that the prices of things can really get up high fast. Maybe if you broke down the cost of everything that would give a better indication. If you showed that to build a system similar would cost $2500 then $2000 is a great price if it only cost $1500 then people will not bite at $500 for labor.

yeah I would be all over the electrical panel and RTD if you split so I guess dibs?

I'd also be all over that panel, should you decide to part.
And you might actually get more for everything that way.

Thanks for the insight, guys. I have been thinking if I split it up the panel would be hard to sell. I'll keep that in mind. Kind of apprehensive on the subject of shipping it, however. If I decide to split it up I will let you know.

Some little questions, I decided to post it instead of PM so if I'm not interested the infos could use to someone else.

Can yon put it in a crate on a skid so it could travel to Canada?

Will the skid be less then 48 x 48 with at most 72" in height?

Are you able to make it ship with UPS from a commercial office (Because on a skid it will be heavy, a fork lift or a dock will be useful)?

If I decide to buy it which payment method would you take? Paypal?

With the info I will try to get a shipping quote

And to everyone else, would someone be interested for the chillier, stir plate and the pump or iijakii would you make a price for just the rest
