Thinking about selling my rig. Going to move a few states up for Uni next year and won't really be able to brew
.
The system is 240v 5500w Brutus 20 type setup. It's dual vessel and the control panel contains an Auber PID which regulates power to the heating element to keep it at a precise temperature based off of readings in the BK by an RTD. If you set the thing at 152F for mash, it'll hit the nail on the head everytime. The two-vessel setup has both pros and cons over a 3v type rig. It's full volume and constant recirculation, so there's no sparge. That means low-to-mid 70%s efficiency wise, but you cut a solid hour off of brewday, more compact system, etc. Let me know if you have any questions on how this system works, I'll be happy to explain more in depth.
Both of the pots are stainless steel, all valves are stainless 3-piece, and all fittings are stainless camlocks. There is a March pump attached to the shelf. The stand is beautiful and red-oak that has been stained mahogany and sealed, with the legs being a pine painted black. The stand is very durable and is on casters. The mash-tun has a false-bottom and locline. All of the receptacles are locking NEMA plugs. It also comes with a plate chiller, 2L flask and stirplate.
Asking $2,000.
edit: located in DFW, TX.
*note that the top blue power-indicator LED was out in that picture and has been replaced.
Turn-key power on/off, pushbutton for the element, PID, Pump, and an emergency-stop. The toggle is for the PID's temperature alarm.
