So, I'm brewing this soon. What do you think? Any suggestions on the hop schedule? FYI my steep whirlpool method will be to add the hops at flameout 15 and 30 minutes before chilling the wort.

It is delicious!

The oats and the week make it quite opaque, but also give it a great head that really laces nicely as I crush a pint of this hop nectar.

Lots of orange on the nose. Kind of bruised though, like a box of mandarines with a couple soft ones in it. This mulchy/ripe fruit flavour/aroma must be the whirlpool hops.

The oats give it a silky mouthfeel, a bit subtle maybe, but noticeable. The flavour I've been getting is very citrusy, very juicy. It has bitterness that is noticeable but also balanced because of the high hop aroma and flavour.

Overall I am really enjoying this batch. On the next ipa I will definitely be following a pattern similar to this one.

I have a similar one that is bittered with Amarillo, flavored with cascade, and aroma'd with citra, and dry hopped with citra and amarillo. Malt is pale and a bit of crystal. I love that beer - it is a grapefruit bomb.
