Hello
I'm looking for a fairly simple recipe for my first all grain brew this weekend. I'd be interested in a IPA, Wheat, or Hefe for 5 gallon batch. I've got all my equipment ready and I am looking for something not too hard so that I can get my confidence up for the future. Any helpful suggestions would be great. Thank you!

Do you have any form of temp control?

If not, or even if you do, id recommend a saison since they require no temperature maintenance at all. I wish I had done one for my first batc. Definitely wouldve turned out better than it did. Saisons also have extremely simple grain bills traditionally and there are a few dry saison yeasts available.

They are the hoppiest belgian style by far, so you could make something in between a saison and IPA

A hefe is a great beer to start out with. You can just grab 6 lbs of wheat DME, 1 oz. of Hallertau and ferment with Danstar Munich Yeast. Simple and delicious first beer.
